is there any major set-up changes needed for a hand tattoo??

Run your machine a bit harder when you get closer to the palm…
hands are usually tougher skin –
cause they are constantly stretching –
just go easy – and let your client know it will require touch up
see how it heals and then document your process…
hands are not very common – so you should have some experience under your belt before you try to do one!

it will be the top of the hand, so a bit thinner skin

[Nightliner]

run your machines a little slower and yes the skin is thinner on the top of the hand, so watch your depth.
