Hi, been in skin for one year, hungry for many more. Found this forum while reading review on alayon book(was not discouraged). I hope this forum will be a sort of community for stranded artists. I’m in Tucson, AZ. I look forward to this.

“Been in Skin for a year” what do you mean? are you an apprentice? Have you seen http://www.ArizonaTattooMagazine.com?
Have you heard of the tattoo school in Gilbert? I have not personally been there – but I think the concept is a good one – how well they are actually running the “School” is yet to be seen.
I think that you can NOT go to a school for only a few weeks though – that is just crazy.. also a “school” should be included in an apprenticeship – or a pre-curser to an apprenticeship.. stay tuned for more on this forum.

Also if you are in Arizona: you should check out http://www.ArizonaTattooGuild.org – might help you network with some real professionals who are looking for an apprentice!

If you are not in a studio then you should not tattoo – at home.. remember to always use plastic tubes and tips, barrier protection, and new sterilized needles!
