Working on this for a buddy of mine (left forearm).
Still have to do some refining. Think I’ll lighten up on the pin/red.

He’s a guitar player in a local band.
It’s a guitar neck under torn skin.
He wants me to put it up the inside
of his left forearm. I’m still working
on it. I told him I wouldn’t do it if I
can’t make it look right. I would really
appriciate any advice from you guys.

well I see the guitar fretboard now! that’s a cool idea, just make sure the rips and tears are not in a pattern. mix it up, make it look like a real tear. sweet idea, man.

good concept, ive seen plenty of torn skin tats. i would look at a couple of them to reference from. i think theres to much pink and not enough dark reds.

Yeah, I definately agree that there is to much pink.
I actually started to redraw it. This time I’m trying to
make the tears in the shape of the letters of his kids
initials. I don’t want them to be real obvious. I want
it so that you have to kinda look and use your imagination.
