Question about metal tips. Need help please

Hey I have a quick question. I have a set of stainless steel tips and they have gaps in them unlike the plastic ones. Can u tell me why?

What do you mean??? Are you talking about groves??? I suggest not using them without a autoclave and being taught the right way to clean them!!!

YES..a picture tells a thousand words. Im guessing here but I think what you have is likely a cheaper tip where instead of being drilled in the center its merely folded over or pressed into a round shape thus the groove. I could be way off on it but that sounds to me like what you telling us….
