I did this skull on my upper thigh about a month ago.
It took me about an hour and a half between, preparing my work area, my skin (hairy ass legs!) haha!
Plus the tattoo process. I used a 3RL for lining and a 7RM for shading.
I only used one machine for both lining, shading, and it was my first attempt with a RM.
Hope to get some feedback, thanks.

hey did this particular skull also have roses with it?

Funny cause I did an identical rose on my upper thigh when I first switched to coil machines while ago.

sorry, forgot to give you my opinion on your piece, my bad.

Not too bad amigo. The 3rl good choice. I msyelf would have used a 5. But then again I dont know exactly how big of piece that is. Thanx for sharing.

Look forward to seeing you progress. :)

The original image did but then I redrew it and shaded it differently.
I wanted to practice with a smaller needle grouping and that’s why I used a 3RL.
But if I tattooed this on a client or anyone else, I definitely agree a 5RL would have been what I would use.
Thank you for your kind words.
