Hey all,totally new to tatto artistry,I’ve been doodling,sketching,all my life,and after i recieved my first two tats,i thought why not?I recently purchased a tat kit with two machines,and all the bells and whistles,took me about a day to get em both tuned and set up,now I’m ready for my first victim..lol What type of fruit does everyone recommend?.My kit came with a sheet of fake practice skin,but it feels like it’s hanging up the needle.Any who thanks for having me,hope i dont drive everyone crazy with my stupid questions.

Hi Mike, welcome to the forum. I have a similar story :)

I would recommend Honeydews, but I did most of my training on oranges as they are less expensive. You can also try pigskin as an alternative to practice skin. And make sure to practice as though that fruit is a real client and follow all safety guidelines in doing so :)
