      my aunt specifically requested the purple sash, it’s usually draped on the cross during lent. Catholics are big into the different colors representing different seasons, but some Protestant churches use them too. the purple has something to do with “repentance” i think.

      that’s cool – and the purple means royalty – when Jesus was being tortured by the guards they put a purple robe type deal on him and the crown of thorns to mock him – saying – look there is the king of the jews – purple is the color of power and royalty and such……..i’m 99.99% sure of it :geek:
