Spaz00 here. I’m a Canadian looking to learn the fine art of tattooing. It has been recommended (forcefully) by a few friends that I do something with my artistic talent aside form keeping it in a book. Or giving/selling it as flash for someone else to tattoo on someone. So for about a year I’ve been looking for someone to apprentice me in the area. But that’s been to no avail. so now its time to do it on my own and become what most artist hate. Which is a scratcher. So I’ve been looking at kits and that lead me here. Hopefully I’ll learn a lot and not offend the pros who paid their dues.

Welcome :) ‘paying your dues’ can take many forms, not just being the shop slave. Research takes time… Equipment costs money… Practice [eventually] requires the sacrifice of skin… I call all those things ‘paying your dues’… I think respect for the art, and a willingness to learn, are the most important things to have :)
