Your work looks pretty solid. Not much color. Honestly a lot of your work seems to lack depth in areas. A lot of solid black. But I’m assuming those are fresh so they may have lightened up in spots, plus I’m looking at them on my phone. What’s up with the paper plates? Haha I mean I guess there is nothing wrong with that and kudos for the extra effort to keep things clean… I’ve just never seen that before. I guess I would say try to focus on shading your work more. If you do some color work try to post it… Usually people start calling everyone out when they see a color piece.

Thank You Johnny that’s what I’m talking about, I’m a self taught artist now for over 18 yrs now, and a lot of things I don’t know still, how would u recommend that I lighten up the black? I’m actually really interested in learning different shading techniques with color if you have any pointers please tell me, the paper plate thing is something I learned from huck spaulding, and something I’ve continued to use and I’m very diligent on my sterilization and preventing cross contamination, and I’m sorry about the size of the pics I have to use my cell camera for now and there’s a size limit on here. Thanks for all the input I will continue to improve and work harder, bcus I’m looking for an apprenticeship which would help me tremendously.

Are you using grey wash? Diluting your black? I use a very fast running shader for black and grey work, this allows me to shade light areas without hammering in the color. Pay attention to light sources so that you can leave areas for skin tone, or white highlights. I was looking at ur bondage chick piece and it looks like you just randomly chose some areas to shade. Maybe get a book on drawing? Painting?
