All I used was a Dixon Ticonderoga #HB pencil.
Hope you like them! (: -

Yeah the one upside down… (Or is it???)
No man, I mean it, love that shading you did. And it takes alot to impress me on a drawing scale ;)

lol, yes it’s suppose to be upside down that’s how I drew it.
Oh ok, yeah it’s funny cause I started the outline 3 years ago!!!
Just re-did the outline and finished the whole thing in about 2hrs the other day. haha.
Well thank you very much, the positive compliments are appreciated a lot!

Outlining is what it is. Would even go to say; Most people can do outlining. The real magic, the real life, comes when you start to shade and sculpt the pieces. Bringing it off the paper. :ugeek:
Yub, I get poetic once I start drawing and start looking at other drawings ;) If it dosent speak, I dont look a second time. hahaha -

Yes and no, with outlining. You need to have a solid foundation IF you’re using an outline, if it’s not solid (just like a stencil on at tattoo) the shaded probably won’t be much better. Plus built up outlines like that picture, bring a new dimension which helps make it come off the paper more.
But as you said if it isn’t shaded well either it doesn’t speak to you, which I totally get where you are coming from. It totally says something when you have a beautiful shaded work of art, just like the rose you tattooed. AMAZING LENNART!!! (:

Well yes, might have been to harsh on the outlining ;) But still, in my book, its the shading that does the job :D
Again thanks :D -

haha. Yes, the shading definitely does and you’re very welcome! :)
