  Find a shop and get an apprenticeship. They will say no (if they are any good) but don’t accept it. Go back everyday, cal, email, to the point of stalking/harassment.
  I emailed the shop manager 3 times a day, called once a day and went there every other day for a month before I was accepted as an apprentice.
