The rear spring’s relation to the front spring and armature bar
is important to the geometry of the frame. These four pieces of
the tattoo machine should be aligned as much as possible to
ensure that optimal energy is transposed. If the alignment is off,
the needle will not enter the bottom of the tube’s tip in a straight
manner, and a lot of energy will be wasted during the mechanical
systems cycle.
