Yea this site seems pretty dead, bummer. As long as your arm bar stays parrelel to the base, and the back coil isn’t touching your totally fine. Putting tape or something to cushion the metal to metal contact under the front coil is normal to reduce sound. An o ring under the front spring can help to reduce sound and make machine run smoother, b…[Read more]

I’ve just noticed I am alright at drawing. But I’ve always wanted to tattoo. Recently bought a starter tattoo kit. And practiced on my self. And cleanliness should always be #1

Getting a smooth gradient on fake skins is next to impossible unless your using premium stuff (pound of flesh, reel skins). Try getting some pig skin from a local butcher or Asian/Mexican market. Make sure it’s fresh, you want a pinkish tan color not a fair or white color. If it’s a little lighter in color on some spots that’s okay the skins can b…[Read more]

I’ve been trying to set up another color packer with a larger throw/gap but I can’t seem to get the right rear spring tension to do so. when ever I bend the back spring at an angle that looks right to me, I’ll then try to run it and it…[Read more]

ALWAYS always remember, linework is THEE foundation of your tattoo. It’s the foundation and anything without a foundation falls flat. A eh colored tattoo won’t look as bad with GOOD solid linework, however,a good colored tattoo will not look any type of good without solid, consistent lines.

What’s up everybody. I’m at work so I have to make this quick and to the point. How do you avoid rake marks when your using a mag (9 round mag). My shadings coming along nicely, but I still see little lines from the individual needles in a mag all through my shading. Why?

Hi, Seems like this forum is starting to lose it’s way but I hope some people still come here to help out.
I have a question about paper to draw stencils on and need some advice. I mainly use my computer to draw and a thermal printer to make my stencils but I feel that some work would be quicker hand drawn but don’t know what paper to use to print…[Read more] -
