Brand New Artist

Hi guys. im a relatively new artist. meaning i know how to hold the machine. honestly im very passionate abou tart of all kinds. basically i need some insight from experienced artists. im Currently working on getting an apprenticeship and i would like to have my own studio one day. ive never taken an art class but can work pencil and charcoal relatively well. Ive done a few basic tattos with a kit i bought but im uncomfortable doing so becaue i dont want to mess someone up or hurt anyone, or my reputation.
My first question is: How do i decide which studio to get an apprenticeship at.
