Thanks for the kind vibe of this forum. I would like to see it get popular, and see some more experienced posters, although I understand that answering questions isnt most pros mission. It must get old(I hate the scratcher hating though). I have a much more punk view of it all…
I did some apprenticing of sorts when I was about 13, hit some skin, did some hand poke little things when I was about 16, did some work with a cosmetic rotary machine as well as coils when I was about 20, now more than ten years later bought some gear to do some tats on my leg. Not really thinking of going pro but very interested in machine building- an ideal apprenticeship would be out of a workshop more than a tattoo shop. Recently played with some pig skin and laid some bloodlines out on myself tuning my machines but gotta get some good black before I do anything, got about 1/4 oz. or less from a bamboo artist here in Thailand which is dark as hell but I really want to start with a standard like kuro sumi or something- So I know what to expect in the future. Pretty sure he made his own ink. ANyway, that’s me. Ill post my blowouts in a couple of weeks.

Well least you found yourself coming to a non-hating scratcher/kitchen magician forum. I’m a member of several other sites where I post at also, and some are very hateful in my opinion……just the way it is with some artists by their nature. Bunch of bullshit if you ask me.

Anyhow….you wont find that kind of attitude here. Feel free to ask away. Look forward to your pix, ttyl
