Hildbrandt Beretta Rotary Liner

I have a couple minor issues with this machine,but one major one. The brass cam that drives the link and armature bar is machined so that I have almost a half inch needle stroke. That is way too long. I broke 2 rubber bands in 5 minutes because the stroke is so long,it ate through the rubber band.

I am now in the process of machining 2 new cams to shorten the stroke.

hmmm this seems odd to me. A friend of mine–Jimmy Von Lemon–actually praises this liner to high heavens. to each their own i guess.

I’ve never actually met Jimmy, but I’ve seen a lot of his work.
I hope someday to be even half as talanted as him. His shop
“Lemon Ranch” is here in my home town.
