Hello ladies and gents. This is my first post, so I hope I do it right. I’m going to post my artwork in general, even if it’s not flash. I’ll put my current flash projects towards the end of the post and I’ll post different stages of my work. (I like to document as I work incase I ever want to put it on a website maybe. I don’t know, I’m just obsessed with documenting. I suppose it just makes me feel more professional?). Anyways, here I go!
Before:

Just a little bit about me, I’ve been drawing and painting for years, but every year I say to myself “Okay, NOW I’m going to get serious.” So for me it’s a constant battle to move forward and progress.
I have zero tattoo experience, but I have a very serious determination. I’m also challenging myself to not buy tattoo equipment untill I have an apprenticeship so I can do my part in eliminating that “apartment scratcher” image.
I’m currently enrolled in the Art Institute of Austin for Graphic Design.
I’m completely open to critisism, and I understand that it is constructive. I want feedback and I want to learn!
I work with watercolors, so if you think you have information that can help me, then I’ll do my best to repay you with the little knowledgfe I have on whatever you need.
Thanks everyone,
Eric.

i like your art very much.
on another note… tattooing is a skill, but it’s not brain surgery as some would like everyone to beleive.
anyone learning a skill as permanent as tattooing is smart to take it slow and sqeeze every ounce of possible learning from every experience, but don’t let the grandeur of it all scare you from moving forward. except that you will mess up- but learn from your mistakes. i’ve seen some fantastic artist who some would consider “scratchers” just because their early days were mostly self taught and not in a traditional apprenticeship.…i’m off the soap box now.

Thanks for the kind words, sir. I’ll definitely remember what you’ve said about pretty much just chilling out a little bit, lol. By the way, I saw your bulldog post; sorry about the bad news, but those colors are awesome. Hope to see some more.
