It looks like your going too deep. The redness around it tells me that. In my opinion line work is really delicate, fast, and with meaning. Once I built up my confidence and tuned my machines 100% correct I could see where I wanted to go, and now I can “feel” the difference. It’s all hard to explain. Experiment with varying line weights, or thickness. It will be that much better of a design. Good start though!
