should have introduced myself earlier, but hi- my name is Clay.
like most on here, i have always been a drawer/painter/artist/creator. always bent on perfection, and now i am addicted to tattoos. i got my first tattoo as a military man- the EOD badge i earned at age 20. it was all over from there. at my last station i had an artist doing a half sleeve for me and convinced him to teach me a few things. he showed me the basics and i was off running from there.
for the most part, i have tried my best to take it slow and not do tattoos beyond my abilities, but like most excited newbies- i’ll admit i have taken on a few that i should not have. long story short- i have been tattooing since 2006, but i really got serious about it in 2009. always trying to get better, and always open to learning more.
nowadays i am married with a baby girl, and i’m a financial advisor by day- so i wear long sleeves even when it’s 100 degrees outside. :)
cheers.
