Mag needle setup

how does everyone else run their machines when using mag needle sets?

i tend to run mine a little slower and try to soften my spring tension just a hair. i also try to slow down my hand speed a little and shallow up my puncture depth. just want to know what others are doing because of course i’m always open to new ideas.

What I do is use a longer throw to slow it down, have to use higher voltage to compensate, my equipment is not high end so my power supply I have at 10-12 volts with 10 coil shader. Haven’t done anything with spring tension yet, but I hope to get different springs soon, as mine seems a little stiff
