      HAND CRAFTED TATTOO MACHINES

Lightweight aluminium, or brass machine of your choice, ie, LINER, SOFT CUTBACK SHADER or COLOUR PACKER / SHADER,
I also make a aluminium ‘shorty’ the lightest and smallest machine designed and built yet, at only 166 grams. These machines are hand made in my workshop using only top quality materials sourced in the UK. IAll of these machines are initialled and numbered and should you ever need any spares just drop me an email stating which part is required.
      The parts I make :-
Coil cores, (standard 1 1/4” length)
      Phenolic washers,
      Insulating washers,
      Binding posts, (solid brass)
      Vice (3 piece),
      Frame (3 piece),
      Armature bar.

AERO ALLOY ARMATURE BAR JIG, FITS 1/2” and 3/8” BARS

I designed and made these because it’s always a pain in the butt trying to get the back spring lined up whilst keeping the front spring centered, so now all you have to watch is the front spring, which is the easy bit and let the jig align the back spring. They are machined for both 1/2” wide and 3/8” wide armature bars, so whatever you use it should fit and make changing springs simple with no guesswork needed.

Should you wish to purchase a machine, jig, we can send you a paypal invoice if you provide us with your email address.

Delivery is only via signed for, insured methods of delivery. Please state if you require recorded, so we can adjust your invoice accordingly.

A bit of background, my partner is a tattooist and she often complained of her cast iron machines being too heavy, so, having worked in engineering most of my life, and already making coil sets for her iron machines, I set about designing and building some lightweight machines for her from scratch.
These machines are not revolutionary, they are the standard two coil, armature bar type found in 99.99% of tattoo studios around the world. It is the materials, design elements and weight saving measures that make
them different, a typical weight saving of 50 grams (2oz) does not sound much but I am told it does make a difference when you are holding it for many hours each day. (typical 75 grams (3oz) weight saving on shader / colour packer.

Tattoo machines Resistance is very important for the process of tattooing. Many tattoo artists will pay great attention to the work force when they opt for new machinery.

      some nice looking machines.
on the aluminum machines, are you using any sort of plate under the coils besides the frame its self?
