do not laugh – if you are right handed, how do you guard your left hand from needle hits (aside from being very careful) as you stretch the skin?

okay, you can laugh, but also…give this newbie some advice!

Stretch the skin, keep your left hand away form the needle – your two hands should never be so close – because you will be hurting the already tattooed area – ther eis also no real need for your hand to be so close to the machine…
Make sure you get an apprenticeship – and dont tattoo your friends until you have don so!
Also check out the fake skins – practice on yourself or on fruit or dead pigs. Hope that helps!
