It is important to know the geometry of your frame. The way
the holes line up in relation to each other, as well as in relation
to how they line up against the a-bar and tube-vise hole as the
basis of your geometry. The key thing you want to look out for
when tuning your machine is that your coils are in line with each
other, that your armature bar is in line with the coils, that the two
springs are in line with each other, and that the armature bar
nipple is in line with the tube vise hole. You will also want to look
out for the contact screw. You want to make sure the contact
screw is in alignment with the front spring and has a good solid
contact face.
