yeah I used a 3, though I think I would have been smarter to go with a larger grouping. However we are in the process of coloring right now, and the thin outlines are kinda nice. They don’t overpower the colors. I may go back over some of them and sculpt them out later, that is if the guy can sit through it after probably about 4 more hours of coloring.

Hey I posted this somewhere else but this seems a better place. What’s the advantage/disadvantage of curved mags as opposed to regular mags. Are they particularly useful in certain applications?

canvas you, thanks for the reply and the tip about the configuration. I’m gonna be coloring this piece soon and was wondering what kind of groupings you might suggest. We are planning on doing some solid fills, possibly some gradations. I’ve got some 11 mags, some 12 rounds, some loose 7 rounds. I’m ready to pick up any other sizes I might need.

I do have a copy of the book. There is definitely some valuable information, and I have gleaned some good tips so far. When are those videos you are working on gonna be ready?

I had planned on using a larger liner, but with such tight shapes making up the body I thought the thinner the better. I often wonder how the long term life of the tattoo will make it look, and in this case I thought it might bleed into itself less. Any thoughts on long term healing and long term ink bleed and fading?
