i like to find the old school flash and do my best to immitate it in my spare time… its quite a challenge still after 20 years of drawing.

i agree with the shading vs color packing, i suffer sometimes too but im learning… the shadow along the vine probably could help it out a little bit, or maybe a complimenting diff color of green on the vine? or a yellow?

I found a really nice orange from a guy I occasionally buy from on Ebay, its from the brand “Color Lock” and the Orange is called “Sunset Orange” Ive used it on several different skin shades (including a darker skinned person) and its came out beautifully every time so far… :D I really do like the Starbrite one though too….. fave brand right there!

I prefer to use Starbrite Jet Black Outliner. Ive also found that a guy out of Florida with the brand “Color Lock” his Knight Black works pretty well.

Ive been running coils for 7 years now. I learned to rebuild them, take them apart and everything. I think that is great start until you can really get straight lines with coils.
