try to blend a little more as well –
a good technique is to lay down light black shading – then cover with color – and multiple shades too – not just solid coloring book –

w/ the purple spirit masters paper –

you put the drawing in the carrier (usually cardboard) and the heat and light cause the purple stuff to bond with the paper – and the carbon in the original ink..
and it magically makes a copy…

You jack up the skin – bad healing – scabs inks comes out
there is a happy balance between poking and scratching – before it becomes tearing and hamburger meat

Do you ever tattoo w/ Mags?
You can achieve really smooth gradients with larger mags – I would have used 15 mag or even like a 20+ Mag for the bulk of that piece – will go a lot faster and be a lot smoother – just a suggestion.
