Just got to do this piece today, I’m really happy with it! It’s the first time I’ve got to work with so much color.

Used a 3rl for lining and 5rs for the color
Kuro Sumi outline, and Mom’s Millennium Ink for Colors

Honestly its just a LOT to take in lol, I was planning on waiting til I got a chance to look at them all before commenting.

It looks like you have quite a diverse portfolio, and I’m happy to see you doing something a little different with traditional Japanese art, as a whole Id say you are well on your way!

Quick tip on the ink smearing, dab don’t wipe :)

If you ever get a chance to go back into it, what I would do is try to make that loop look like wooden sticks. That way it would look okay and you wouldn’t have to fix your lines. I’m pretty sure those lines are too far gone to make look right without making them extremely bold.

Good thinking! Its always best to practice as if you are tattooing a real person.

And I don’t know where you got the kit but, I would suggest upgrading before hitting up real flesh, and getting used to the new stuff as well.

Oh and, practice skins look pretty cool framed and on a wall of your shop so you can never have too many of those!

I’m having trouble deciding if I should critique those lines or not. The feathers aren’t bad but the loop of the dream catcher is shakey as can be
