It really depends on how much tension the rubber bands are putting on the needle bar, not the amount of rubber bands itself.

In this case, the rubber bands are clearly not bending the needle bar down or anything so I don’t see a problem with it.

I have no idea what is on that machine though.. Could be a kind of disposable ink guard? Not sure.

I’m pretty sure all I have are M1s but I’ll look through them and see if I have any MC or RMs and see what they’re capable of

The reason I ask was because I have a bunch of these mags and I’ve never bothered to use them in anything. The closest I came was using a 5 Flat and I didn’t really care for it.

I need to get some practice skins and go nuts with the mags though just to see what happens. I definitely don’t feel comfortable enough with them to use them on a client.

I don’t know how old you are but if its still going to be a while before you turn 18 it wouldn’t hurt to get in contact with the artist you want to apprentice under and express your interest.
