I think the curved makes shading a lot easier. It’s more tricky to get into corners but love them for blending.

I read the READ THIS thread and thought I’d give some info.
Machines: Were chinese made originally,valsturd from Hildbrandt, but I rebuilt everything but the frames with coils and parts from Baltimore Street Irons in Hanover PA. I like American parts LOL

Looks good! Blood would look good, maybe a very lite gray shade over the whole thing so it all has some color.

Ummm took around 6 hours, note this is only my 3rd tatt lol, and I used a stencil i drew up. Like I said he needed a lot of breaks and I was having a hard time with the skin snagging at certain spots, right below the ribs. He said it’s healing nice so when it does I’ll be finishing it up.

The tatt took about 3 hours with 2 breaks in there. I use a 9 curved mag thats why I put the c before mag LOL My bad.
I’ve been using diamond tip disposables for lining and not riding the tube to do my outlining. Sometimes I get a little shaky when I first start till I calm down. I’m thinking about trying some round tips and riding…[Read more] -

Thanks. Once it’s healed I’ll have to see if there needs to be any touch ups. I know I’ll probably fix a some of the outline where she just had to move lol Owell she loves it, but I’ll feel better with some of the lines fixed.

Thanks! Yea did 4 on some practice skin. Real skin is way easier than that rubber crap lol. I think my 10 year airbrushing career has helped a lot with color mixing and shading. Nothing like starting out with an easy one huh? LOL being sarcastic

Thanks for the reply. I love airbrushing but I’m at the point I need to try something challenging, learn something new, you know what I mean? I know all about the highlight difference, but I do most of my work on tees and always try and use the white of the shirt for the highlights, I hate using white unless I absolutely have too.
