Thats a big problem I’ve always had with fake skin.

I don’t know if they’re more sensitive, but
a lot of them have thin skin. They have
like 2%-5% body fat and way too much
tanning. Be careful.

I say make some reference marks and cut it up.
I haven’t done an entire back piece, but I did a
large piece on a thigh, and it worked for me.
It’s just kind of a pain to line it up just right.

I built a light box, and it really helped me.
I think that having a super hard, really smooth surface
(in this case tempered glass) behind the spirit paper helps.
For me, it makes the carbon mark better.

I never thought of actually doing tattoos. One day I was online

The line work turned out o.k. for the most part.
It goes from the ball of her hip to the side of her knee.
I’m happy to hear any other advice.

So, would color the dark areas first, and
“soften” the edge? Kind of like shading?
Then go over everthing, including the
dark color, with the light color?

Don’t give up on the forum. There is a wealth of
knowledge here. I’ve learned a lot from the people.

Awsome work! With enough practice, you could tattoo them.

Yeah, you can’t stretch them.
What I like about them is that if you
overwork them, it causes damage just
like real skin. Also, it helps get you
use to a curved surface.
