One thing that i have found, is if u use a stencil, to follow the INSIDE of the line, and ur work wont look so THICK. If you follow the outside, or directly on the line, it tends to make it look thicker than originally wanted, or at least for my experiences. Hope that helps.

Thats a solid piece, man. post a healed pic up, would love to see the outcome. Im new myself, have about 200 tats under my belt. This, my friend, looks like more than the 20th tat. GOOD JOB! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, my friend! just be confident in yourself, if ur not, take a moment to calm down, and then go in. if ur not confident, it will surely…[Read more]

hey, man not that bad. how old is it? And I have to ask, how do u feel like u did? confidence is the key, man. go in with confidence, dont hesitate. did u follow a stencil, or was it hand drawn and then done? to me, looks like it may have not been a stencil, but it really does look good for a first tat.

This tat looks like a freehand tattoo. lets see the colored version to compare. dont get discouraged at all, stick with it and go SLOW and set ur machine tuning to bog down so u wont damage the skin. the lines look solid, but doesnt look like u followed a stencil. How do you feel like you did on the piece? did u go in with confidence? Confidence…[Read more]

I have another question to this subject…if a pressure cooker is used, should the cycles be longer? just not sure if a pressure cooker has the same setup or not.

It was evident the person that responded didnt really read my post and that in itself is frustrating. lets me know they really dont care about my question at all just want to look good with a response. This is supposed to be a forum where u ask questions, get an…[Read more]

Yeah it is thick, which leads me to another question…Does thickness have anything to do with how it goes in the skin? I would think this type would be excellent for packing in blacks, but I also have seen some black that was rather thin do the same job. That part does confuse me, but in reality, does thickness have anything to do with ANYTHING?

If I were doing the tat, I would use like a 5 round liner for the lining and 7 mag for the shading. But it really depends on the actual size. What are the measurements? in inches?

Well, I can get 250 individual wrapped and sterilized with gas tubes and tip combo for just $20. I already have the needles. So Im guessing that aint your version of a good idea…Still pushing the full disposable deal. I do understand, but to get the amount I would need, It would cost me a few hundred as aposed to just $20 or so. I also have a…[Read more]

I think the only “benefit” to a school is imediate hands on experience, and ONE school offers to give u $5000 in equipment. So if u want imediate hands on, and some equipment, then thats the way to go. but remember….this means less one on one for the important stuff. Also the instructor wont probably remember ur name, and is speaking to the…[Read more]

By the way, I was searching for some disposables, found just the tube for a reasonable price. Its the whole tube and tip, but not the grip. If I got this setup, would that be ok till I can get the full grip, tube and tip disposable? I mean, The grip doesnt get any contact with skin, but it does get the “fluids” so was woundering if I did this, how…[Read more]
