Personally, I’d add more shading on the dial, then hit it with an ivory color to simulate a vintage watch, but that’s just my .2c :) It’s an amazing piece, tribute pieces are always the best :)

Wow! Thanks so much for all the helpful replies! I have to disagree with Kitchen wizard on the practice skin front, yes they are horrible and nothing like the real thing, although you can drape it over your thigh to get some shape to it,
BUT if you get the thin ones they are about the right thickness for you to learn how deep to go, if you start tattooing the table underneath…

I can’t top what has been said above about the machine theory, so I will just add my advice, and that is to not ever tattoo practice materials ie rubber or fruit. The control of the machine you will develop, will be either too hard or too soft (rubber is too hard, fruit is too soft) when you come to then work on Human skin, with habits and…[Read more]

I also hate these schools, but not for the reasons many might thing. The reason I hate these schools, is from talking to various people about them, they would not, as clients, either trust, or recommend someone to tattoo someone else, who has simply taken a two week course, and is now ‘deemed’ to be a professional. I’m not knocking the eduction…[Read more]

I honestly dont know anyone who doesn’t bend their bar? I cant imagine tattooing and getting clean line work without bending the needle bar, unless its already got a bend in it or…
