Its totally badass. Perhaps mostly cause I’m blinded when it comes to Giger ;)
Reminds me of a commercial for levis jeans. A girl riding a horse, jumping over a train. What I only saw was that the train was design by Giger :PYeah, Giger is amazing! I’m a pretty big fan too. :D

Hey Ryujin!
I’m at the same stage as you and a few people on here have recommended the Hildbrandt kits so I’d say you’re on the right track. I’d be checking out this place though… http://www.tattoomachineequipment.com/the-hildbrandt-professional-tattoo-kit-system Better kit at a better price. :) That’s the one I’m planning on getting to…[Read more]

Good on you for saying no for the right reasons. It’s always good to hear that someone either doesn’t take an apprentice before they’re ready or isn’t a jerk about it. :)

I blame those stupid freaking tv shows! I have actually had people since those shows have started look at me in surprise when I tell them a full sleeve will take about 15 hours and then ask me, well what can you do in one session? uh….the outlines!
Yes agreed… Those shows really messes with people idea on how…

Thanks for the feedback! :) I might do another version of this later with larger scales. I definitely agree that bigger scales would be better on skin. I’m thinking smaller ones would just end up blurring into one another?

Ok, I changed the link to photobucket. Give it a go now. :)
I know what you mean about WIP’s but sometimes if I show someone my WIP’s it give me the push to finish them. :)
I can definitely see where you’re coming from with the scales but I’m wanting it to be a finished picture and then if I get to ink it in the future I will just not trace the…[Read more]

Hmmmm…I’m not going to get a chance to really hold any of them to know if they feel right so what I’m leaning towards at this stage is to get the Hildbrandt kit so I have everything in it and then get myself a Mickey Sharpz machine either straight away or a week or so after. That way I have the power supply, grips, etc and can just…[Read more]

Haha! Ok…must be different then. :)
I’m so confused about machines/kits/etc right now… I was leaning towards just getting the Hildbrandt kit and upgrading bits and pieces every couple weeks as I learn more but I’ve just read a bunch of bad reviews of Hildbrandt machines saying they’re exactly the same as the super cheap ebay crap… Now I…[Read more]

Riiiight…. that was kind of what I suspected. I’ll check out the Micky Sharpz and also others that are around including the Hildbrandt kit that Ram said was good. Out of curiosity, are Micky Sharpz and Micky Bee the same company?

Here’s a link to where I was referred to. They don’t call them guns (eeeep!) that I’ve seen but it does bother me that they don’t sell any autoclaves, only the supplies to be used in them…

That is actually the kit I recommend to everyone on here, haha.
Haha! Awesome! I’m tossing up between that kit and another kit that the place that I’m doing the course through recommends. The other kit has machines by Technical Sharps in them. Do you or anyone else know what they’re like? That kit is really expensive though!

I have the .444 Marlin, .22 Rimfire, .357 Magnum, .44 Winchester, and the .30 Carbine. They arent crap :P
Haha! Cool. :)
What do you think of the ones in the kit and the other supplies in the kit? Are they worth it or would it be better to just get everything individually and make my own kit? -

So much to think about… I’ll have to see if I can find where I read that rotarys did more damage. It was something to do with the way the needle goes into the skin and then has to wait a whole revolution before then being pulled out meaning that the needle is in the skin for a longer amount of time and has more chance of catching and causing…[Read more]

Thanks so much Len! Between you and Ram I definitely have quite a few answers. :)
Don’t worry, I have absolutely NO interest in copying anything, with the exception of using some photos for reference. I don’t think I could live with myself if I ever copied another artists work! I’ve had my designs copied before and then sold in the commercial…[Read more]
