When you say catches skin what exactly do you mean?
Are you checking your needles some times they might be barbed never a bad thing having a look before you use them on skin.
is it all needles or only a certain size? are you using the same brands?

Your not going deep enough! Do you use the needle as a guide or the tube tip??
She might need a tiny bit more just to get the ink in a bit better. This all comes with practice! (I have a tattoo on my thigh and I have just solved a similar prob with it)
Also what ink are u using? I found the chinese inks are terrible in the skin almost too…[Read more]

Hey,
Looks like the depth was a bit off with this one could be because the skin is a bit tougher here so you may need to allow for that.
Also this part of your body is exposed to all the elements between sun, water, wear and tear (hand in pockets etc) the cracks look as tho they are in the natural creases of your skin so looks as tho it dried up…[Read more] -

You will have to do a tight three point stretch, may need to push slightly down on the skin (a bit more than normal)
Also Depending on where it is on the body you could get them to position them selves in a way it taunts the skin. (lower back: a slim person could sit in a 90o angle and have taunt skin but a heavier person may need to sit leaning…[Read more]

Also was the tattoo covered with a plastc sheet for a couple of hours after the tattoo was done! Tattoos can dry out very quickly and if its not kept in this moist environment for the few hours it can get very scabby and dry.
