When you say catches skin what exactly do you mean?
Are you checking your needles some times they might be barbed never a bad thing having a look before you use them on skin.
is it all needles or only a certain size? are you using the same brands?

Normally I use something that’s a bit tacky or dries a little sticky. I know in us they use some thing called green soap?? … I just get a bit of anti bacterial soap rub a dot on to the area til it dries dry and stick stencil on! …. since I last tattooed my self I. Have bought stencil stay … but the soap worked well just have to get the timing right .. too well stencil runs and too dry it won’t stick :)

Your not going deep enough! Do you use the needle as a guide or the tube tip??
She might need a tiny bit more just to get the ink in a bit better. This all comes with practice! (I have a tattoo on my thigh and I have just solved a similar prob with it)
Also what ink are u using? I found the chinese inks are terrible in the skin almost too thick.
Eh udder cream! That’s a new one and I have lived in the green green fields of ireland just becareful with it obiviosly don’t rub it on to a cow and use the same tub later on a open wound on ur skin.

Hey,
Looks like the depth was a bit off with this one could be because the skin is a bit tougher here so you may need to allow for that.
Also this part of your body is exposed to all the elements between sun, water, wear and tear (hand in pockets etc) the cracks look as tho they are in the natural creases of your skin so looks as tho it dried up and cracked. did you cover it after getting it inked? normally in the shop the lads recommend 3 hours covered up but in dry areas of the skin they would say remove film, clean and ointment and cover it again for another two hours.(this can change from artist to artist) but its allowing the skin stay soft.So I could look at Needle depth and also a little more TLC for the after care.
But hold in there the lads are great here they just arent on every day and the views you get mightnt be site members they could be unregistered viewers :)

You will have to do a tight three point stretch, may need to push slightly down on the skin (a bit more than normal)
Also Depending on where it is on the body you could get them to position them selves in a way it taunts the skin. (lower back: a slim person could sit in a 90o angle and have taunt skin but a heavier person may need to sit leaning more forward to pull it.
excessive skin moves very easily so when applying a stencil get them to rest the area comfortably (bingo wings have a mind of their own so some times best to get the person to put arm up in the air and then rest it by their side just to allow skin to rest comfortable and it wont be dragged forwards or backwards) -
