Half the stuff you get in kits is crap if you have everything you need to tattoo they are cheap enough by one and practice with it they require very little setup, if they don’t have adjustable cam wheel or bearings you will need one for shading and one for lining, They do heat up more than coil machines. if your gonna go that way look into…[Read more]

These are my first attempts at tattooing pigskin Spider was done first made me realize that I should do something a little less intricate, Hench the owl! first attempt at applying colour had to make up a couple of different colour’s on the fly and first time with a 5RL ended up changing back from rotary to coiled machine to get better penetration.…[Read more]

plenty of mistakes in this, Its hard to know when to stop and say enough took about 5 hours to shade this was knackered had an op on my elbow 4 weeks ago so that didn’t help any.

Fake skins chew up needles when shading I’ve learnt that or maybe i’m going to hard out, I think with pig skin the the lines and shading might stay in better and be more achievable?

Hi I’m new to this also are you working from one side to the other or top to bottom so as you are not rubbing over your stencil, Or when rinsing off covering stencil that you haven’t lined yet and wiping away from it ?
