Thanks Johnny, had a feeling it was something like that… I was using the new Samoan tribal ink and it seemed like it was ‘skinning’ in the ink cap. thanks for the feedback :)

I’m still a beginner with about 2 years under my belt. Always learning. I do have a normal job so tattoo mainly on the weekends.

I currently use (Coil) Micky Sharpz Liner and shader.
I also have the Hurricane HP-2 power supply. Not to bad. Suction cups don’t work well on wood.

Usually I set the voltage on the liner at about 7 – 7.5 volts and the shader about 8.0.
Do any others use these and what settings?

Thought about getting a rotary or the new Cheyenne. Anyone use these and what are the advantages?

Heard that I can also prob just use 1 rubber band instead of 2.
