its not bad… i think the only thing that stands out is the thickness. But I had the same issues also when I first started with those types of tats. I even used a stencil apply and it still came out thicker than what I thought.. Keep practicin, it gets easier!

I think also if you are just getting into the groove for drawing. Many artist draw from inspiration. I know that for years I looked into redrawing others art and then I will take and add my own twist to it. Just purely for a educational perspective. I would never copyright anothers work without permission, as best as I can legally.
But I have had multiple art courses and such and no matter what it still cant beat practicing and etc.
Heck! I still have a hard time with shading and color… Even after taking color and design classes I have a hard time….
but yeah.. just draw and keep drawing. I try to keep a sketchbook or something with me @ all times and just doodle.

I totally agree with what they all are saying, its always better to be safe than sorry no matter how careful you are. I ONLY use disp. materials on clients. I find it much easier to just purchase the bulk combos etc and open in front of the client that way there isnt any questions. Yeah, it might cost a bit, and yeah money may be tight. But in the end you wanna always practice sterile work from the get go.

The shop that does all my ink, I ask tons of questions. I also observed everything from what he did from the get go to the end. Sterilization, tuning, inking etc etc. It was interesting to see how different people ink.
When I first began I was very nervous, I have been studying for years and it never quite does anything until you actually try it the first time. I am learning at my own pace and having fun @ it.
