while i will say an apprenticeship is the best way. I will also say many many many many great/some best in the world tattoo artists are self taught. That is a bummer though, and hope things work out for you.

Forgot to say nice recovery after losing your stencil

1speedstick, 2 ounces green soap, 2 ounces alchol. Melt speedstick in microwave add all to spray bottle and shake shake shake. This is what i use and i don’t lose my stencils. Clean area spray onto gloved hand wipe on area apply stencil and give 15 minutes to dry. Wipe away from stencil

If it all falls out then i would say your body rejected the ink. It really looks like it wasnt deep enough to me. It also looks like the skin was overworked as well. You will know more when it heals. If i had to guess. looking at some of the lines the look very thin and for lack of a better term scratchy. I would say didn’t get ink in deep enough
