• Rotarys are becoming extremely popular at the moment with portraits and realism, especialy machines like the stigma hyper, inkjecta specific 3, spektra halo from FK irons, all of which have adjustable give and a coil like feel, look at some of the work done by some of these machines on the companys facebook pages and youl be blown away:-)

    Ive got a koi tattoo that was done with starbright bright orange and its been about 7 to 8 years and its still about as bright as the day it healed

    Kuro sumi outlining ink is used by nearly everyone here in Aus it goes in easy is probably the blackest outlining ink that remains a dark black years after the tattoo heals not that crappy greenish grey colour, its great for making all tones of grey wash by just adding distilled water as well.

    If you are using kuro sumi grey wash shading ink how much distilled water would you add if you where making pre mixed 80ml bottles for 4 or 5 different tones from very light to dark? I usually make up a 3,6,9 and 12 % mix with the kuro sumi outlining ink.
