looking pretty clean dude. i dont see a problem with your black ink. what ink are you using? for outlining, and for solid black I use Intenze Zuper Black, and I use Kuro Sumi for shading.

if you go on kijiji or craigslist you can get a fax machine for an office and use that to make stencils. as long as its thermal you can do it! :)

thats what i use. my dad gave me his fax. the only thing you gotta remember is since it prints on the BACK of the carbon you need to make sure you FLIP your stencil so when you copy it itll be the right way! :)

to me it looks like some of the lines are more fresh than others
and the others are healed
like it was done in more than one session, and the thicker lines are healed and blown out

not sure though just my opinion

not bad for your first pieces, but it looks like you are just scratching the skin

keep working on your lines on practice skin, and honeydew melons. your lines look scratched on and youll probably lose them.

worse comes to worse buy an office fax for 20$ :P

use a soft SOFT grey, and line some of the strands gently with your liner to get some ghost lines

then take a nice M1 (7M1 might work unless its a MASSIVE piece)

then you want to sort of “Draw” it in with your mag
dont brush it on like you would with shading use your mag vertically not horizontally

also do “Vs” in junctions and such
