i refuse any tattoo that is of a boyfriend, or girlfriend
i wont do a tattoo that someone will regret
love lasts until death, but tattoos last through zombification

i will also refuse any tattoo i deem wont last: ie toes, bottoms of feet, palms, tongue, etc

also anything i find is offencive, or that I wouldnt want my studio name on

as with Rob I purchased many different sharpies and use them. i get each colour with the think and fine markers to get the nice line weight :)

Authentic KuroSumi Tattoo Outline ink is good for all around. I use it mainly for shading, and I line/solid black with Intenze Zuper Black.

i bought a kit off ebay, but soon after replaced every single piece of equipment in hte kit, and sold what was in it for dirt cheap as it was all garbage ^^;

I use Night Angel Shadow black textured nitrile powder free unsterile gloves when I tattoo. I change my gloves each time the client takes a break, nad change my gloves after cleaning the skin/applying the stencil. this is to prevent cross contamination form the skin to my ink bottles and such while i set up my machines! :)

I use a product made by SOLabs called PurTect :)

Also compressed air machines sound like a dentist drill, and cause MAD client discomfort IMO

im pretty excited for these magnetic drive machines though

not trying to be a dick, but rereading it i really did come off as one D:

I use 100% pure CaviCide on my machines, work stations, and everything.
The health unit-in Ontario, Canada-will also accept 100% pure javex bleach, but I think it needs to be like 90% or osmething like that.

Also this doesnt STERILIZE anything. This will only SANITIZE. You need to use an autoclave to sterilize anything.

make sure you keep your inks cool
if they get too warm they are garbage :(

you need to draw A LOT
at least 2-5 drawings a day :)

try honeydew melons instead of practice skin
it might feel a little better
as far as the apprenticeship–at least here in Cornwall, Ontario–they would rather see 10 good drawings than 100 crappy tattoos
make a really solid art portfolio n you can probably get in :)
