I buy a stencil solution from a shop here in town, and put it into a spray bottle. I spray one squirt onto my hand, rub it in, and repeat until I get a tacky feeling. Push the centre of the stencil on first, then gently rub outward. Apply pressure for 10 counts, remove, let dry for 10 minutes. :3

not a fan of the colours but lookin good so far :3

KuroSumi is rad for Outlining, and shading by fat.

I like Alla Prima for nice solid colours, and mixing. As they are all prime colours they mix very well

after that I’d have to say Fusion, or Starbrite

Another problem of shakey lines is liek you said the shakes. Don’t try to PULL your needle size, you should be pushing it. If you think the tat should use a 5 RL, maybe try a 7 RL? Since you’re starting out the larger liners will hide your “Shakes” much better than lets say a 3-5. Personally I prefer a 7. I find if I go smaller my slight shakes…[Read more]

I was also having the same problem, and upgraded to RCA, and I find it to be MUCH smoother. Even when I used an RCA ~> clipcord adaptor it fixed the problem. Which is weird…
it’s like the reg RCA cord, but instead of plugging into a machine it plugged into a cord that had a regular clip cord on one end, and RCA female jack on the other.
