Changed the back spring to a thinner one and whola! Now running at 8.5, tested it out and it runs cooler. I’m still thinking about switching to rotary and I will definatley be buying better machines. Thanks everyone!

Thanks. I think I’m going to have him come back and see if another application of ink will hide it even better. You can kind of see some of the old lettering if you know where to look. Maybe some more shading over that will make it cleaner looking, but overall he was pleased. Thanks for the support Viper.

Can’t say that I have a lot experience tattoo over them, but this last tattoo I did had some and they swelled quickly. So I would definatley take Wrathone’s advice. However a lower back tribal tattoo on a man is probably not the best idea unless the rest of his back is tribal also. Some may consider it a tramp stamp. Lol.
