try to practice your line work more before tattooing too many clients. honey dew melons are really nice fruit to use as a practice medium. if your outline isnt solid your tattoo will fall apart. it’s like trying to build a house without a solid foundation. also drawing a lot will really help you out :3

Ramenuzumaki replied to the topic chinese writeing in the forum Post your work here 11 years, 3 months ago
i can see a few holidays in that piece. you’re going to have to give it another go. before i do any type of chinese work i always give the client a nice warning about the fact that it is very difficult to actually know what the characters are saying. I know quite a bit of japanese so i am comfortable with that, but if someone ends up with Kitchen…[Read more]

do you have a before pic of the cover up?
the first pic of the three doesnt work
your main focus for a cover up isnt necessarily to COVER the tattoo it is to masque it, and draw attention AWAY from the original tattoo. use as many of the original lines as possible, and the busier the new tattoo is the better as this will draw the eye away from the…[Read more] -

solid work stan. looks nice and saturated, and the lines are nice and crisp. maybe instead of making a new thread for each tattoo you do you could make one thread and keep posting your tats in that one to reduce the thread threshold and spam :3

Ramenuzumaki replied to the topic my first go at colour in the forum Post your work here 11 years, 3 months ago
UV pigments are fine they are just extremely thin. i find the thinner the ink personally the harder it is to work with. you also need to be running a UV light the entire time you are doing the tattoo so you can see how well your ink is saturating into the skin. i recommend getting some Alla Prima, Eternal, Radiant, or Fusion inks. Inteze Zuper…[Read more]

that is definitely a difficult place to tattoo
a nice massage bed, or a tattoo chair that can lay flat into a bed will help you immenselyas far as placing your stencil i normally use a relaxed position. however, some spots what you need to do is apply the stencil how the client will be showing the tattoo. a big example of this is the knuckles.…[Read more]

there arent really any set voltage settings for machines. it all comes down to the machine and parts themselves. I have a one-of-a-kind Buzz liner that runs at 6.4, a Danny Fowler Flatline that runs at about 7.5 my .22 Rimfire runs at 7.9, and my .357 Magnum runs at 8 even. What you’re looking for is a voltage that doesnt bog down your throw too…[Read more]

there are a plethora of other goddess you could throw in there: Sif, and Frigg are among them. Frigg would work well as she is the wife of Odin and the mother of Thor. you could also always add Tanngrisnir and Tanngnjóstr along with Thor. Theres also Valhalla which is a very beautiful place you could place on the more feminine side as well

looks good dude
pretty good job on the shading
it looks like you rushed the line work though especially within the runes. unless you were going for a shaky look for th erunes to have them have that chiseled in look
all in all a good tat bro
the nordic religion is one that is near and dear to me :3 -
