#1 i do not think you can really get real real dark lines in practice skins. Just try going slower or better ink like Intenze lining ink not zupler black. What type of ink are you using? I really don’t know to much about practice skin since i used fruits when i started out, but it sounds like maybe your machine is not set right. Make sure to set your machine at a dime thickness between contact point and front spring when lining and nickle when shading. Also voltage and hand speed can cause this.…[Read more]

Intenze lining black works good for me, and Starbrite for my bright colors, Mom’s for the darker tones.. I have found those flow very well together and heal great… :lol:

On the packs that your needles come in they should have numbers on them like 3RL, 5Rl, 7RL, and so on.
