#1 i do not think you can really get real real dark lines in practice skins. Just try going slower or better ink like Intenze lining ink not zupler black. When you do the shading start out with one ink cap (i use #9) full of solid black then with the next put 3 drops and fill to top with dispelled water then another cap 2 drops and fill to top…[Read more]

What type of ink are you using? I really don’t know to much about practice skin since i used fruits when i started out, but it sounds like maybe your machine is not set right. Make sure to set your machine at a dime thickness between contact point and front spring when lining and nickle when shading. Also voltage and hand speed can cause this.…[Read more]

Intenze lining black works good for me, and Starbrite for my bright colors, Mom’s for the darker tones.. I have found those flow very well together and heal great… :lol:

Welcome, As far as getting your foot in the door you said you wasn’t new to tattoo’s. Well start there, maybe go to some of the artist that have done some of your previous work. “I am assuming you have had done” get a portfolio together and show them. Welcome, Glad to have ya!! Ask as many questions as possible. What worked for me was get to know everything you can on blood born pathogens. Then get to know your machine. Taking it apart, springs, There are alot of good guys and gals on here who will be glad to help you out… :D

I hope you are only useing these things on your self. Ebay has some good stuff ive herd but i stick to the tattoo supply stores my self. On the packs that your needles come in they should have numbers on them like 3RL, 5Rl, 7RL, and so on. I dont knowif you are familliar with those or not but they stand for Round Liner if they do not have that on…[Read more]
