there is no reason to ever contaminate a bottle of ink, u poor it out before the procedure and then put it away, mine goes right back into my craftsmen tool chest,,cuz ya know its best to keep your ink out of sunlight and other uv sources…ink shots are a waste.

but an RCA setup can be built from radio shack a lot cheaper. i do mine with sub-mini jacks.

i use finger cotts for the dial on my power supplies< just in case i want to make an adjustment. you should consider changing gloves frequently, petroleum based products compromise the integrity of latex and such and are considered broke down in 15 – 20 minutes.

Skin candy is decent< i got about 50 of their colors, including the UV set. dont like the pastels much.

im gonna venture to assume that u dont know enough about tattooing to even worry about tuning your machine, its likely not the cause of the problem.
