Plasma is sort of pinkish rather than red. if its WHITE its pus which is a sign of infection. Normally accompanied with redness. It also dries yellow/cream/green. plasma is sort of pinkish/clear. normally what you see while tattooing is plasma. there isnt very much blood depending on WHERE you tattoo. plasma is in your blood. it is what causes…[Read more]

the problem with that show is its more about the story of the tattoos than the tattoos themselves so you dont get to see the process, or hear tips in that one D:

we get active during different times of the year
what we need is advertising, and active mods/admin like me :)
we also need to go through our member list and start deleting the inactive members
i tried to do that the other day but the best i can do is prevent them from…[Read more] -

the linework is pretty solid for one of your first tattoos
you’ve got some potential :)
the design could have used some work though. a few tweeks.your colour/solid black looks pretty good. nice and solid

Ramenuzumaki replied to the topic Cover Up Help in the forum Post your work here 11 years, 7 months ago
you can cover practically anything with practically anything
the trick is to have the new design larger than the first, and have it very busy. that way it disguises the old tattoo rather than COVER it. that’s the whole point of a cover upid say come up with an elaborate sleeve idea and knock it out
check out the show Tattoo Nightmares. It’s a…[Read more]

awesome :)
I prefer Zuper Black by Intenze for lining. i find it stays black without an undertone, then I use Kurosumi for my shading! :) -

Ramenuzumaki replied to the topic Hildbrandt Configurations… in the forum My Machine Hates Me! 11 years, 7 months ago
I had worse machines than what Hildbrant sells and I had Eikon springs on. The thing about Eikon springs is they arent prebent because Eikon makes a special A-bar for their springs so they work straight. Youd either have to buy one of their A-bars or bend the springs with pliars :)

yeah it doesnt really matter much. they probably changed it lately. they’ve been doing a lot of updates lately :)
as far as the springs they gave you they just gave you generic springs imo that can do any job. id probably invest in replacing them to match what i said in my post :)
you can buy light/speed a bars from hildebrant too. i use the ones…[Read more] -
Ramenuzumaki replied to the topic tattoo schools in the forum Design Ideas / Technique 11 years, 7 months ago
Tattoo schools arent supposed to replace your apprenticeship they are there to enhance it. You’d do your two week course or what have you to get a foundation, then do an apprenticeship. There is no way they can cram an entire apprenticeship into two weeks. Theres no way you can learn everything about health issues, sterilization, sanitization,…[Read more]

I don’t know why they gave you them set up like that. when I had talked to them before they had mentioned their .444 marlin being ideal for colour packing. It isnt as easy as changing the springs on a machine to change what it does. The geometry of a machine is made to do a specific job, as well as the coils, capacitor, armature bar, and…[Read more]

Ramenuzumaki replied to the topic Best type of fruit for practice? in the forum Pigment vs. Ink 11 years, 7 months ago
Never use a tomato. It is nothing like human skin haha. Use only Honeydew melon in the fruit area. Honeydew has the CLOSEST consistency, and resistance to human skin than any other fruit. :
