…I’m wild and spontaneous….I draw according to how I feel or what client request I have. And when I’m not in the middle of anything I draw stuff I have stuck in my head or an abandoned piece of art I have tucked away waiting for me to return to it.

Very possible…..but wouldn’t look too clean due to size. It would be better for either a larger piece. Too kewl to shrink down to size to fit on just a peck piece.

The rubber band offsets the bend in your needle bar on the curve. I would have to post pix of my bend and then in the tube.

I honestly dont know anyone who doesn’t bend their bar? I cant imagine tattooing and getting clean line work without bending the needle bar, unless its already got a bend in it or the need grouping…[Read more]

consider adding some scroll leaf designs to the blocking scroll line work you got there. It will change the perception of the line work being so thick. Pieces like that need to have areas that are single stroke thickness and clean. It gives it that classy look when you have some fine line work done with swirl line work. Coloring will improve with technique and time. Also when doing black fills. make sure you color up to the line. Even if they move you can still feed right up to the line. Working on moving clients and stretchy skin all comes with experience. You will learn to maneuver around skin that is very stretchy.

I would suggest doing smaller tattoo’s and do them in a big way. I can tell your ambitious about art. Sometimes slower is better….and when is say “slower” I dont literally mean by speed….but by quality and control. If this came to me….I would hit the dark purple area with a deeper purp. And add several blends of red…names of red will vary depending on your brand of ink. I would hit the reds hard. You can only do so much at this point without over traumatizing the skin.

I like your style. Your pieces are not really “flash” per say, more like “works of art”. Try busting out an 11 x 17 sheet or just an 8.5 x 11 sheet of just different designs for a tattoo flash sheet.

Like how you work with different mediums, I work different mediums as well. Keep it up!
