Liquid applications are always the preferred method
in stencil application. There are unlimited numbers
of chemicals that are in a liquid form that can be applied to the
skin and will achieve similar results. These chemicals have to
be tested to by each individual artist to determine which works
best. Products that are specifically geared to stencil application
are also available. A popular and cheap method, that works
excellent, is to use a spray bottle that is made of 30% alcohol
and 70% water. The mix is sprayed on the skin and gently wiped
with a glove to the point it forms a slick layer on the skin. Then
the stencil is applied. Some artists like to use a green soap mixture
as well.
